Do you know yourself, think again!

I was in conversation with a friend who said, Oh, this is not who I am. He presumed he will not take a rightful action that could benefit him and others just because it did not resonate with who he was. It was an identity question. He made me ponder.

We exist in different versions from our childhood, the day we are born, or even from before, till we die and perhaps posthumously too.

We end up meeting number of people every day of our lives. For every person that we meet, we create a perception of us, or a version of us. So to them you're not you, you are a version of you that manifests.

If you meet, or if you come across 10 people every day, in your lifetime, you would have come across at least 300,000 people, if you appear on a stage or theater, perhaps you will come across more number of people or more number of people would have experienced a version of you in a way that no two versions are alike.

If you're on a stage, people in the audience will experience your version based on their own mindset, a completely and totally different version of you.

So every time you encounter someone, you're creating a new version of yourself, for them. No two versions are alike or identical.

In your lifetime, from your birth to that you go through different stages, different ages of life, at every age, and every stage, you create a different version, and no two versions in time are identical.

You come across family, friends, strangers each with a different level of interaction a new set of emotional exchange for each, you create another version of yourself.

Like a group of blind defining defining the elephant your true identity still remains hidden. Blind have a different version of what an elephant is and that is exactly what is happening in the universe.

A number of people are actually defining a version of you and you have a preconceived notion of version of you, depending on who you are listening to most.

Even your own knowledge, skills, perception change, every moment, will your body cells die, and new cells are generated every moment, eventually your whole body is renewed many times in your lifespan.

We set for ourselves an expectation to act or behave in a certain way based on that voice that tries to dictate who we are, but that same very voice sometimes prevents us from being the best version of yourself.

So don't think about what you are, who you are, what you can and what you can do. Just try and be the best version of yourself without letting in the intellectual impediment of who you are ( or are not) creeping in. If it prevents you from doing the right thing then you are manifesting the wrong version of yourself.

Even you may not know what is the best version of yourself because it is yet to be.
